2 cups brown rice (cooked)
8 ounces ground beef (substitute chicken or turkey if preferred)
1 cup mixed frozen vegetables (choose veggies your dog likes such as cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, spinach or kale)
2 tablespoons bone meal *
4 tablespoons ground flax seed or flax oil *
½ cup grated raw apple (or blueberries)
Cook brown rice according to package directions and cool. Place mixed vegetables into food processor and pulse until vegetables are chopped, but not mushy. Steam mixed vegetables for 3 minutes; cool. Cook meat until medium rare; cool.
In large bowl, mix together cooked rice, steamed vegetables, cooked meat, bone meal, ground flax seed (or flax oil) and fruit. Serve.
Yield: Enough to feed a 50-pound dog for one day. You can double, triple or even quadruple the ingredients and have dog food for a few days! Be sure to freeze what won't be eaten within 2-3 day.

Before feeding your pug any "human" food, check with your local vet to make sure your pug is not allergic to any of the ingredients.
