Hey just wanted to introduce myself! Brought home a 7 week old pug a couple of days ago called Rambo and he is so gorgeous! He's my first pug and before i got him i did lots and lots of forum reading which helped me prepare for the new arrival. He was the only one of the litter to survive so is precious! He's snuggled up next to me as i type

hi tricia76, welcome to pugspot and to being pugged! just be consistant and patient with her housebreaking. she will get. pugs sometimes can be a challange to housebreak. take her out often, make a big deal when she goes outside, and have plenty of little treats like cheerios in your pocket to give her. the whining at night will stop if you ignore it. just make sure she doesn't have to go potty. good luck and let us know how she's doing...if you have any problems i'm sure some of us can give some suggestions.

Hey! Welcome Tricia76. Congrads on your pug puppy too. Patience is the key. Carol is right. Just be consistant. It takes time, Don't expect 100% until they are around 6 month to a year. Some get it learned fast, some don't. I started mine at ever 1/2 hour. Don't forget to both new people. To add a command when you take them out to potty. Like Go Potty, say it the whole time your walking them around until they do it. Then say Good Job! And lots of praise as soon as they do it.
