Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site and only found it by chance on google. Anyway my 3 month old Pug Merlin has recently got red watery eyes and red wrinkles. We washed his face the other day with a non soap cleaning soloution, then dried it and it's still there. Today i bought some anitbacterial baby wipes hoping that would do the trick. Nope his face is still red. I don't get paid for another week and can't afford to run him up to the vet. He's an inside dog, I vaccume and clean up his whizz and land mines. What is causing his redness? How do i stop it?
Please help.
Also, i'm on a few different forums. How do you use the search function on this forum.
Thanks.

His wrinkle may just be irritated,my boys get red marks around there wrinkles at times. Clean and dry the area and then use neosporin on his face but don't get it near his eyes. It should clear up rather quickly.
When you can call your vet.
Also click on forums and pick a topic
Hope this is of some help there are a lot on knowledgeable people on here that can help.

Thanks pugsly. I'm from Australia and don't know what neosporin is. We have different names for drugs over here and half the stuff your country sells in it's drug stores we don't get here.

Mad dog,
Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment to prevent infection on cuts scrapes and burns (that's off the label ) you should be able to find something like it in your pharmacy locally.
i'm sure you can find something similar. A lot of us use it on the dogs and the kids.
Good luck and hope Merlin gets better
Hugs and kisses
