Im so sorry! We lost our chow chow 10 years ago the same way. It is not easy but time will heal the wound. Sparky is there to help you heal with all of the pug kisses you'll get. Please know how much many of us feel for your lose. At least you will have the pleasure to have all of your special memories of your precious girl. she knew that she was truly loved. There are lots of puggies and chows waiting for her to play with once she crossed the rainbow bridge.

Sparky just needs more time, maybe after getting to visit Beijing's Grave site he will accept that his buddy is gone. I know from experience that dogs need to accept loss as we do. When one of my pack members, Dollie, passed away after battling cancer, she passed at home with me there it was very peaceful. As I was taking her to the car all the dogs were standing in the kitchen quietly watching me. I could tell they wanted to see her, so I laid her body on the floor for them to see. They each came up to her one at a time. Once they all had a chance to observe her they all stood in a line looking at her for a minute or two. Then they each turned and walked away. I knew they had seen and understood that she was gone. They just needed to know that she was gone and that she was not lost or missing. I am sure that is why Sparky made his way to Beijing's grave. Maybe now he can begin to move on and who knows, maybe accept the new playmate in time. We are sending you and Sparky pug hugs and kisses. Marti and Desi and Bella
