I don't post much.. but I wanted to let everyone know that we're back to just our 3 girls. We had to put our Coconut Boy to sleep... It's been hard since he was a rescue and he only had him for a short time... I keep thinking if I could of only saved him sooner from his puppy mill life.. just maybe he could of had a longer healthier life then what he had. Keep your puggies close and show them love everyday, because when it's time for them to go to God, time is short and memories are all you have left..

Maybe his life was short, but at least the last bit of it he knew love and kindness
I believe that goes a long way. Bless you! -

Oh I'm sorry to hear about Coconut Boy. What a blessing to have you as a pug parent to give him joy in his last days!

I am very sorry for your loss,
The fact that you rescued your little Coconut boy, goes a long way.
Your love spoke volumes, something he never had in his prior life. .I would love to know more about him,
how old he was and what caused him to cross over
the rainbow bridge.I also would suggest that you scrapbook your memories.
I lost two of my rescues last year and the pictures of memories will always be there to love.
you don't have to be an expert or spend a lot of money to scrapbook.
Just find paper that you enjoy and a pretty album.I know that Coconut boy is watching you and no longer in any pain.

Thank you for your kind words... Most people don't understand how hard this was for me.
Coconut was a very sweet boy of 10-12 years old. He tested positive for heartworms but was too sick and weak to under go the heartworm treatments. We thought we had him on the way to better health but it just did a turn around... His breathing got to where you could tell he was having trouble and he lost his control over his bladder.. he started acting as if he was giving up and thats when I decided to end his suffering. It's been rough, but my three girls seem to understand my grieving because they've been really clingy and lovable since we lost Coconut. It's weird how they know something when it's upsetting you, isn't it?? Anyway, thank you again to everyone and their kind and thoughtful words, it's meant a lot to me through this sad time.
