I'm proud to announce the 1st Annual PugSpot Pugoween Costume Contest! Dress your pug up and enter to win some great prizes!

++How to Enter++

1. Dress your pug(s) up in the most creative costumes!

2. Upload photos of your pug(s) in their costume to our photos section.

3. Post your entry to this forum topic. To embed your photo, go to that photo's page and look in the right sidebar for the embed code. Copy the code under "Forums" and paste it into your reply.

++The Rules++

• You may enter as many times as you'd like, but please only enter a costume once (ie. don't enter your pug 10 times in the same pumpkin costume).

• Please keep the costumes family friendly.

• We will accept entries until 11:59PM MST on October 25, 2009.

• We will pick the top 10 entries and then let the community vote for their favorite! Voting will last from October 26 through October 31. 

• We will announce a winner on Monday, November 2, 2009!

First Prize: $100 gift certificate to PetSmart

Second Prize: $50 gift certificate to PetSmart

Third Prize: $15 gift certificate to PetSmart

haha! i'll upload mine soon, but when ever i try to upload a photo on forums, it comes out as a small "X" in a square box. i don't know how to fix it!!

katb....i had to copy the url address from my photobucket account and then paste it in my reply. if in the brackets the "img" is in caps change it to lower case. that worked for me. good luck...i am also computer challenged!

KatB, it's because you copied the images from your listing of smaller photos. If you go to the single photo pages and do it there, they will be bigger.

KatB: Also, I just pushed a new feature live...if you look in the right side column of an individual photo's page you'll see some "embed" code. Copy the code under "Forums" and paste it into your post and you'll be set.

Katb....if we put china rose in her lion costume with rosie and mikey as dorothy and the scarecrow...all we need is the tinman!!! how cute would they be together!

KatB, I could not get them to stand against the back of the couch.  I wanted everyone to see the costumes and they would look like they were cheering.  So, I took the pix over them and turned it around.  I must admit, it makes me do a double take too!  LOL

Sorry it's a bit blurry but you only get so many chances to get the shot. This is a picture of Gracie Lou in her butterfly costume.  The antenae always remind me of a Dr. Seuss character.

next year I will try my best to get her fancied up like the rest of the puggies.  I never had a pug to dress up. I'm new at it , but it sure is fun!!!!!!

As far a choosing who's costume is the best, you've got to be crazy!!!!!!!  They are all great!  Especially the one with the ref and cheerleader on the couch.  trick shot, huh?

and most definetly, we must get a tinpug to go with the others, maybe a flying monkey or two?  Perhaps a broadway play may be made with rosie starring as Dorothy!!!

Great job to everyone dressing up your pugs for Halloween..they all look great!  Honey was supposed to be a horse with a cowboy on her back, but she absolutely refuses to let me put it on her.  She i such a girly girl.  She loves tiaras and pearls, so we went with a princess for this year.
