Temujin was snuggling with me in bed today, when I noticed something in his ribs. A little bump the size of a tick, only it wouldn't detach.
After struggling with him so I could take a closer look (he thought we were playing), I saw it was like a mole, with normal skin color, and he doesn't seem to hurt or itch when I touched it.
Should I be worried? It seems pretty much harmless, almost like a misplaced nipple, heh.

could be a bug bite or the start of a mole but either way if its not bothering him or getting worse then i would leave it alone and have the vet look at it the next time you have him in for a checkup.

Stan has the same thing and it doesn't bother him

Sounds like a skin tag. They are just like little outgrowths anywhere on their bodies. The vet will usually remove them and send them in for a biopsy, just to be safe. My previous two dogs used to get them often and were always nothing. Good luck and keep us posted... Doc

Just seen the picture! Looks like a small cyst. Doctor will still want to remove and send in. Doc

Thanks for the input guys. We'll be sure to tell our Vet the next time the boys pay him a visit.

I have to agree with docand. Best to get it looked at, probably one of those button cysts. Sass had one, it was harmless. But needs to be tested to make sure.

So the boys went to the vet today. Like docand said, Temujin's mole thingy is probably a cyst, and if it grows any larger they'll remove it.
But a bit of bad news: Temujin's right eye has been irritated and expeling goo the past couple of days, so the vet used a contrast dye and found he has a small ulcer. He's on eye drops for and observation for a week. But we're already contacting an eye specialist for an upcoming appointment.
