My boyfriend bought my Pug from a pet shop. They told him that all their puppies where fixed but he noticed he still had his "junk", he asked the lady working how come if he was fixed did he still have this.. they told him they clip a 'gland' so he can't reproduce. Rekoh still shows his "pink pencil" we'll call it and tries to hump things. he often gets white ooze comming out of his penis also. Do any of your fixed dogs do this?? Or did the pet shop just lie to us to make a sale....

Never purchase puppies from pet stores - as many of them support puppy mills (horrid places - my girl is a puppy mill survivor).
You might want to have the testicles removed as it will prevent testicular cancer, too.

You need to have a vet examine him! Do his testicles still show? If so he is probably not neutered. However, the fact that he can still sharpen his pencil does not mean anything. Both of my male dogs are neutered and they are the same way. However, I am not so sure about the discharge - that might be an infection and he needs to be checked out by a vet!

I have never heard of a neuter where they (snip a gland) I have watched the surgery and that is NOT the way they do it. Testicles are removed. Now, one thing you must know though. Right after the testicles are removed, it takes a little while for the ball shack to shrink down. This could be what you are seeing. But that usually happens fast.
