I can't afford vet bills - here's some resources

I just saw a post and have seen so often people having to give up their pugs because they can't afford the health care or vet bills. It's tragic enough for loving pet parents to have to give up their furbaby, but think how tragic it is for your furbaby to not only be sick but on top of that to lose his/her loving family! After reading a post here, I went online and did some searching. I really hope this can help someone who needs it. Also, if anyone else knows of any other resources, please add them to this.

Resources

Chip-in: Wobbie is a pug with hydro-encephalis. My friends and I passed this link around to dog lover friends so we could all help little Wobbie. Wobbie's "chip-in" is closed now. But if everyone was to give $5 or $10, every little bit adds up. This seems like the best idea, because we are a family here at Pugspot and we love pugs so would love to help any pug in need. Pass it around at other pug groups as those of us who love pugs would gladly chip in even for a pug we don't personally know. (Also see my suggestion below.)

Suggestion:
Often you need the money NOW for the vet. You might want to put it on credit or use the CareCredit above. Then to pay off the credit card, use the Chip-In program.
