introducing Skye

Hi I'm Julie and Skye is my first pug after losing my staffy at the ripe old age of 16, I hope I can do a good job of raising her into a fab little dog, any advice on do's and dont's would be great, Ive a lot to learn after cleaning her lil nose wrinkles for the first time today!! haha, Ive already got her sleeping in our bed tho!! LOL

I would recommend you give her LOTS of love!  Clean her wrinkles & try not to give her too many treats (Pugs tend to get overweight quickly).  Both my pugs sleep in our bed - I can't imagine a night without them.  Pugs main job in life is to be your companion - we try not to leave our babies alone for TOO long.  They get lonely.

I am sure you will be a great mom to Skye!  GOOD LUCK.

Congratulations! We just got a new bed - needed a king-size for all of the pugs! I use baby wipes every night - they know when it's bedime!!! Also - use Cherios for treats - they work great and they last a long time because you only need a few at a time (about 6 is what we use ... we're still trying to get Liberty potty trained)! Hi There, my advice is just to give them heaps of love and attention, you will be rewarded with such love and companionship. Pugs totally rule your life, but thats ok, like someone else has said on Pugspot, i am here to just pay their bills, seek medical care for them, clean up after them, give them the best of food when needed! And you know something....i wouldn't want it any other way.  As for her sleeping in your bed, she will see it as YOU sleeping in her bed!  Good luck, and best wishes and welcome little Skye. x.x.x
