Hiya, I'm about to be a new pug-mummy, my baby has been born but she's only a week or two old (the breeder has two litters, I haven't chosen my baby yet because I haven't met them!). Her name is Max and she's a gorgeous black girl. I pick her up in December and I'm SO excited.
I've had puppies before (when I was little my mum bred Bichons), but not pugs. I've researched and read books and websites, but nothing beats advice from those who have experience with the cute little creatures.
I'm in Australia and it will be the middle of summer when Max comes home. I'm planning on taking a week or so off work to get her settled in, and not long after that it will be the chrismas break, so I'll have lots of time to get her adjusted to her new surroundings.
So, yeh. That's it for now! I might post later with some really stupid questions

Welcome Em and new puggie child, Max. You'll really find PugSpot to be a good go to for advise about Max. I'm Doc and live in Minnesota(burrrrrrrrr). I have three girls, Libby the lab, Lexi the pug, and Lilo the cat. Just remember that pugs can't take heat very well and overheat real easy. Also, the hot pavement can burn there feet seriously. Otherwise, enjoy your new baby and hope to see pictures soon. Doc and his girls

Congratulations on being pugged ... your life will never be the same! Pugs just aren't like other dogs ... we call them "velcro dogs" because they want to be with their humans ALL THE TIME!
No question is stupid ... just ask and someone should know the answer! That is how we all learn!
