Our first pug, what a lover he is!

Hello all, I am the very happy new owner of my first pug, Julian.  He's 4 months old, naughty, sweet, clownish, emotional, talkative, affectionate.... and more.  We're delighted with this little dog and look forward to many years of loving and laughing with him.  I have never had a pug, so this is all new to me.  I'm glad to be here among experienced pug owners.  This tiny dog already has shown himself to be a challenge.  He's very sweet, but willful, and has a hard time getting the point when you want him to stop doing something.  Housetraining is also not going as well as I'd like.  Since I have very littl epuppy experience, and no pug experience, I'll probably be here often!  We also have a golden retriever and a boston terrier, and a few felines.  Glad to be here!  I can't believe anything could have as cute a face and body language as my pug does.  We're completely in love with him.  In the future, we hope to rescue unwanted pugs.  It's obvious why people love them so much.  Well, thanks for reading, looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hello and Welcome! Congratulations on being "pugged" - your life will never be the same! Just be careful - they are very addicting!!! I'm Ellen and my babies are Zoe, Peyton, Webster and Liberty!

Pugs just have a way of indearing themselves to people...it's what they do! We have had our Pug Frankie for 2 years now....and he is still a little imp...always wonder what trobule he will get into! it''s a pug thing. Pug can be interseting to house train, but with positive reinforcement it will happen. We only have one, but sometimes if seems like 12...lol

if we had two I am not sure the house would remain standing!  enjoy being Pugged, and the laughs will be daily. Only thing is, who is training who??? pugs are master manipulators and know how to use their cute faces and eyes to get away with things. We all are looking forward to the stories!

Oh, there's going to be plenty of stories.  This little guy is a real handful.  Housetraining IS interesting.  I'm pulling my hair out with him!

Welcome to Pugspot and congrats on your new little pug Julian. We have one pug Sophia who will be 10 next month. We trained her with pee pads and also with bells on the door. We taught her to ring when she wanted out by ringing them every time we'd take her outside to do her business. Good luck....
