If I know our pugs I imagine little Gretta is warming God's feet or curled up on His lap, lightly snoring and dreaming sweet dreams of her past life that was such a blessing with you....
ahh Doc I am so sorry about Gretta...I am sorry i never got to know her, but I know she was loved! I can tell by your posts about Lexi. Bless your heart! deb and kids
Thank you all for your thoughts. I knew you'ld all understand. I was just going through old photos and decided to go through Gretta's file. It brought back many memories and the sadness of loosing her and what we went through, only to loose....she was to young to pass. I thought that you all might like to see some pictures of her(in my photo file). I feel for everyone who ever lost a fur baby.. My heart aches for you... Enough, lets dwell on now, and continue living with our now fur kids. The happyness of bringing in a new year. If we don't talk before, everyone have a Safe and Happy New Year Doc and his girls
Yes, it is a hard thing. Many of us know the grief of losing a beloved dog or cat. I was broken hearted more than once by the passing of a beloved little friend. We never forget them.
We all understand! this is the second christmas since my mutt Dusty went to the rainbow bridge...I always miss her the most arounf this time of the year.....She was a good dog....and the funiest little fur monster ever! She always left all the other presents alone and lnew which ones were hers....and loved to rip them open....for a little dog..she made quite the mess on chrstmas! one of my favorite memories of her. I keep the tradition going letting my Pug Frankie rip open his presents as well...not like Dusty use to but in his one unqie way. Dusty was 16 when she passed and I think that was too young for a special little dog...who was the runt of the litter. She was fiesty till the end. Anways enough sad talk or I start to cry. She would not want me to be sad this time of year. Of course our Puggers wants his attention and to play so I have to play. I agree time to focus on happy times both past ant present and future and cof course Past, Present, Future Furkids as well may we all have a happy year.....
Docand, sorry about Gretta, I understand what you are feeling. Our Christmas this year was not the same without Sulynn. It was alittle hard. Everyone missed her as well. Have you ever thought about a tree ornament in her memory? I did one, and it makes it alittle easier at the holidays. I have one for every dog I have had. Hanging them each year, helps me through.
