Stella's Not So Funny Trick!

Saturday night was a graduation party for my twin nieces and of course no pugs were allowed! I told the three of them I would be back later, and Daddy had to work, so I was putting their beds out on the cool back porch until one of us got home. Sam and Trudie were out there and I went to get Stellie and I couldn't find her. I called her and nothing! I looked in the bathroom, livingroom, under the bed EVERYWHERE but no Stella! I started to panic a little but knew she couldn't get outside cos she refuses to go down the steps! I thought maybe Butch had shut her in one of the rooms by mistake and looked again! No Stella and the house was absolutely quiet! I really started to get a sick feeling and immediately thought something bad had happened to her! I went and got Sammie off of the porch and told him to go find Stella for me (cos he does that when I need them to come in from outside, he rounds them up little a little pugherder) and Sam started looking for her. No Stellie! Then I looked over in the recliner with two couch pillows on the seat and there she was just quietly watching us, relaxing all stretched out on the pillows! I wanted to paddle her little butt for putting me thro that, but instead carried her out to the porch and went to the party! I was so shook up tho and hated that feeling of losing her! Darn little pug!

She was really hoping you wouldn't notice her so she wouldn't have to go on the porch. HA! What a stinker. Rosie has done this to us as well, and thrown me into panic mode. I nearly have a heart attack when she pulls stuff like that. Your lucky and she was safe. She was just being a pug.
"STELLA"! DON'T DO STUFF LIKE THAT, TO YOUR MOTHER! BAD PUG!

Haha I know the feeling! You laugh at it afterwords but at the time you almost pass out from being so scared. Just a few weeks after Loopy came home he somehow managed to get inside a kitchen cabin. Everything was locked but no one could find him! We spent about 15 minutes looking for him, we looked in all the possible, logical places and no Loopy! I was in tears when we finally decided to look in the fridge, oven (everyone was desperate) & kitchen cabines and there he was! Sitting behind the rice like nothing had happened.

HAH! Don't these Pugs just love to give us strokes? I went to Mom's for Mother's Day and took Molly and Gus with me. Molly usually sticks pretty close to me at Mom's, but I had no idea about Gus. Well, I couldn't find him. I called and called. Ran through the house, checked the garage, looked everywhere. I finally burst into Mom's room (the door was closed) in a blind panic. And what do I see on the bed but Mom and Gus-Gus having some hard core snuggle time! They BOTH about sent me to an early grave!

I just got a mental picture of Loopy chilling out behind some rice in a cabinet. For some reason it struck me as hilarious. I'm going to have to explain the uncontrollable laughter to my co-workers.

I know the feeling! Bella follows me everywhere. More than one time I have accidentally shut her in my closet. Looking around for ber before I leave and almost having a panic attack I find her. I bet Stella was wondering what was wrong with you? LOL got to love those pugs!

oh the joys of the dangerous quiet! leave it to our furkids on how to give up a good fright and then look at us with that "I didn't do nothing look" With recently looking after my Parents FurBaby and Frankie at the same time, we had many of those momments. We all so get it!

Cheeky pugs. Lucky you can laugh at it afterwards.

A few months ago I'd put Boone in the back garden whilst I got ready for work. When I came down to let him in, one of the neighbours had left the side gate open (it is a shared gate.) I had this sick feeling in my tummy and ran down the street in my work heels calling him, thinking the worst. What if he'd got into a road accident? He's too clueless to stay on the pavement.

Two minutes later I see him running back up the road with a man and his dog on it's leash, just wanting to play!

This man fell for his charm and found it quite funny. I'd never been so relieved! Cheeky little monkey almost gave moma a heart attack!

Rexi does this all the time. Apparently the panic in my voice is not enough to make him move from his hiding place!
