Your profile intro sounds familiar to me. I thought the exact same thing about getting a pug. Boy, was I wrong. He was/is constantly on the go and wants ALL the attention. My little boy, Benson, is 8 months now and hasn't calmed down yet. I was told he would calm down after getting him neutered, but that was a joke. He seemed like Super Dog after that, which was weird. My advice to you is to enjoy every moment of his littleness. They get big so fast. Also, be consistent with your training and commands b/c pugs are very, very stubborn. They're big, sad eyes will always make you want to give in.
I just found this website too, and I'm really enjoying it. I wish I knew of it when Benson was 8 weeks old. I would have used it to keep a journal of his life. Keep in touch and enjoy your precious bundle of cuteness.
Thx! Do you know anyone at all who may have pug pups or a young adult who may be near Newport NC ?
Ahhhhhh how sweet!!!! Mine is doing fine with the potty training but he prefers to use the bathroom floor But i must say he learns alot from his older brother so i am sure this potty training nightmare will be over soon.
OMG... puppy love ... pure heaven!
