I am soooooo sorry 2 hear this...She was obviously a truly special baby & will be in ur heart 4ever!!Thank u 4 sharing her with all of us & allowing her to make us smile!!
My pug Penelope died a year ago in June from suspected PDE at only 1 year of age as well. she had her first seizure at 9 months and responded well to drugs for about a month. Then she slipped back in to major seizures and nothing work. We had to put her down as well. I think pugs that have PDE are one of a kind. I swear that my Penelope had human thoughts. I have two other pugs, but neither have the personality like she did. Putting down a dog is such a hard thing to do, but with PDE, I think it's the best for them. At the end, she was seizing so much that when we were putting her to sleep, I think she was finally out of pain. I bet our puggies are running around together somewhere and snorting up a storm haha. I hope you have a lot of support by your side. If you ever need to talk about it, don't hesitate to write. I know exactly what you are going through.
Oh my goodness! your sad story about mylie is making me cry!!! but i am happy you had a great 10 months with her though!!! i am glad you apreciated her so much!! iam sorry that happened!!!
Welcome Tank! I know you are just what the Doctor ordered! What a beautiful Boy! I am sure you have a guardian Angel (Mylie) watching over you, so you had better be good! LOL
Hi Tank! Congrats on being named Pug of the Month! I'm sure you give you mommie lots and lots of love (like I do mine!) and she gives you lots back. We love you, too, sweet boy! Licks and wags from Maddie!
Ashlie, thanks so much for your explanation about the onesie and the suggestions of rompers, etc. Have you ever tried diapers? I received a sample one in the mail (not surae why) but was too embarassed to try it on Maddie. Maybe now I will.
I guess diapers won't work for Maddie--we don't call her "The Shredder" for nothing! I did pick up a onesie at goodwill yesterday but it's too small for Maddie. I found what you said to be true--hard to convert sizes from babies to pugs. And unless I wanted to be carted off to the loony bin, I was NOT going to ask anyone there! Thanks again for your help!
