I reposted this in the proper forum so check there as well, your pug is grieving and he is acting out, you need to keep doors closed to rooms your not in, let him out more often and maybe keep him out longer to do his business. confine him to rooms with easy clean surfaces and maybe use pee pads until he finds his comfort again, pugs are very social so he needs you to spend bonding time with him and let him know he is not alone. it will take a little time and understanding but he will settle down again, I use a squirt bottle with water to curb bad behavior. good luck.
