About Me

We were rescued by our first pug, Haley in 2002. it was love at first sight! In 2003 I went to find her a buddy and we rescued Cassie, who pushed her sweet head into my neck and hugged the first time I picked her up. She had been hit by a car, wandering and sick and had 12+ healed fractures we dicovered later!! SUCH SPIRIT! She was THE center of the household! We got Thor in 2004- pug fever was here to stay! Cassie crossed the bridge Feb 13th. The worst. She had not been able to walk, gotten more incontinent, cried in her sleep. She had this look that said "I am so sorry, I don't want to leave you" She died in my arms with lots of kisses and whispers of how much we loved her. We are better for having known her. We have a very special place in our hearts for senior pugs.
